I often print with nylon, and chamber temp is a major issue. I even just installed a chamber heater. I have found that the chamber temperature only displays 100% of the time on the X1C display itself. I seems that it won’t appear in Bambu Studio unless it is actively printing. I want to have the printer on, connected to Studio, and see the temperature so I will know when it has reached 60C before I tell it to start printing. The mobile app doesn’t even have a place to display the chamber temp! Obviously the information is in the system. Why can’t they just display the chamber temp all the time in both the mobile app and the Studio?
Currently I’m running Studio 1.10.1.50 for Windows, but I’ve always been able to see the X1C chamber temp in Studio, Handy (Android) or OrcaSlicer, printing or not.
Hmm, so perhaps it is just a bug with my version? I will try re-installing it to see if it connects. I am using Bambu Studio 1.10.0.89 for Windows
Bambu Studio 1.10.1.50 did the trick! Sometimes the most obvious answer is the correct one, even if I don’t think of it! Thanks for the help!
I just uninstalled the mobile app, Bambu Handy, and re-installed it also. The chamber temp still doesn’t display on the Devices page where the head temp, bed temp, and speed display and you would expect the temp to be there as well. But just now I realized that you can hit the printer icon and you will get those 3 factors plus the chamber temp! I thank you for the suggestions!
Turn on any one of the heaters, bed or hot end, and see if the chamber temp starts to update, then… I suspect it will. My operating model is to turn on the bed as hot as it’ll go, turn on the aux fan on high, and wait for 45ºC before starting the print. I definitely do not stand in front of the printer waiting for that…
yup! I have installed a chamber heater so I can get it up to 60C, but the entire thing lives under an tent with a fan sucking a lot of air out and putting it outside. When I first started I was getting migraines every other day. It is updating on bothe the mobile app and Bambu Studio now, Thanks!
