Change infill to make object solid

Aloha!
I am designing a new gear shift knob for my 4x4 truck and I want to make the object as solid as possible for inserting a threaded insert for attaching it to my gear shift. How do I change the infill setting to 100% infill?

Mahalo!

In Studio/Orca in the Strength settings. Just set the infill density to 100%.

More walls is what your really looking for. You can have as much infill as you want, but your insert might pull out.
Without seeing your design, but it is a shift knob, I would use at the very least 10 walls.
If your design has the hole for the insert already, then 10 walls should be fine.
From there you could use as little as 10% infill to 99% if you really wanted to.
If your going to press a insert into a completely solid object (no hole),
then most likely it will fail…JMO

You should also use a stronger material

I would even go further and try if you could set a modifier to only do suggested 10 walls on the surface of the whole where the insert sits and the base of the Knob. They outer shell is not needed in that wall thickness.

I would think 10 walls would be plenty. It’s a 1 off so I personally wouldn’t bother with like a modifier for only the insert. I guess it might depend on the material, what filament were you going to use? Because PLA will not last in a vehicle.

Just be careful as the slicer can do some very odd things when wall count is really high.
