Doesn’t work. The brim filament I want is in slot 1 of my AMS and Is set to be printed first in the plate setting. Still not working.
Try the option from planpa3d!
There is a nut icon next to the build plate in the prepare tab. It gives you the option to change first layer filament sequence from auto to custom. It worked for me, and my brim was able to print in the same color as the object.
Came here in 2026, and this is the solution for choosing the first filament sequence. It’s a hexagon-shaped bolt/nut next to the build plate when you are preparing the model. It opens Plate Settings. For the option: First Layer Filament Sequence, change Auto to Customize, and it shows the current order of filament. You can click and drag each color to make the order you want. Click Ok then slice the model when ready to verify.
