I have a project of wanting to print keyboard keycaps. To make the letters on the keycaps, I would like to change the color of them. I have an AMS with a P1S. I have tried searching, but I cannot find any method of changing the color of a mesh in BS based on the topology. Note the picture below, I would like to change specifically the “G” part of the cube to be, for example, green. Any way of doing this? I’ve heard bits about Orca Slicer being able to do this, if this is true, its also an acceptable solution. Thanks!
You can use height range or simple cube modifiers to have color changes based on “altitude”.

I don’t want it to be based on altitude. My goal is to change the color within the same layer, and to change it based on the topology of the model I have provided
Have a look at the Bambu course. One of the sections explains coloring text.
For more advanced topology dependant coloring, you should first start to look into modifiers anyway as you’ll need to get creative for topology dependant color changes.
Altitude and same layer/limited volume (like the “G”) is very easy but coloring based on, for example, wall angle, local thickness, etc requires a more in depth understanding of modifiers and how to create further modifiers than those implemented in Studio.
I am not sure I understand your question correctly. Based on my current understanding, if you have an ‘object’ (i.e. the cube or keyboard cap) you can add text to the surface of the object. This is done in BS by selecting the object and then the ‘Ta’ icon att he top of the window. A window will open to select the font, size, angles, and input the text. If you want the text to be flush with the surface, you set the ‘thickness’ and the ‘embedded depth’ to the same value. I set it to a multiple of the layer height I am using for the print. Example: 0.20mm layer height, I would use 0.40mm text thickness and set the embedded depth to 0.40mm. This would make the text two layers thick. If the filament is a little translucent, you will want more layers for the text.

I appreciate your help, however this is more of a precursor to a bigger goal, If i can color text topology wise, I can use custom fonts etc, and furthermore can color things using topology that isn’t text in the future. I will read the training for bambu labs and see what they have to offer in terms of modfiers!
Keep in mind that you can import any shape as a modifier. So you are not limited to the basic objects implemented in Studio.
For example, there’s at least one wood mimicking shape modifier on MakerWorld.
