Changing filiment mid print with AMS Lite

I had 2 spools of BL PETG HF on my AMS Lite in position 1(partial spool) and 2(New identical spool). Just before the first spool ran out I paused the print and tried to unload that one and load the spool on 2. I was not offered the option to unload the spool on 1 so I had to move the new spool to 1 and resume. Is it not possible to do what I attempted ?

  • Bambu Studio note: I started this print from the panel on the printer

    Please let me know if there is another way I should have gone about this. Thanks Steve

Hi,
Don’t pause the print :
if you push the second filament behind the first one until the extruder catch it, it will work :wink:
