Im using a P1S, and today my Filament Cutter sensor seems to have decided to only detect my cutter as being stuck.
I followed all the guidelines and whatnot, even replacing the blades and loosening the screw on the cutter to make it stand far away from the sensor just to see if it even reads anything BUT being closed.
So my question, until I either get a replacement from Bambu support or just have another one delivered, is there a way for me to print with the external spool regardless, essentially ignoring the error?
Since its not used for printing with the external spool, and is only used for the AMS filament swaps / retracts.

Is it possible via g-code? I doubt it, since to my understanding thats machine code, so wont interact with software layer errors that sends pause (or rather full stop) commands to the printer.
Maybe there is a way to get the machine to ignore errors paus commands?
Ill try disconnecting it from the network, though I doubt they didnt incldue error handling in their printers firmware….
Well, I managed to get it to not throw a warning and complete one print when it was disconnected from the network (not LAN mode, disconnected from the wifi), however, now that its back on the network I cannot control it via Bambu Studio anymore- as it always reads as “printer is busy”.
Checking the machine display, it shows: “ready to print” and “HMS 0700-4500-0002-0001” (aka cutter sensor stuck) in an alternating manner.
It does not go away, and as a matter of fact doesnt reset with a power cycle.
So im just going to be perma-stuck on a machine that is always busy and refuses any job.
SD card prints dont work anyways because it auto pauses from the permanent error.
Ill wait for a reply from the support team, otherwise ill try to firmware reset it, and if that doesnt work order a new sensor… its actually ridiculous that we cannot bypass such errors with a [ignore and continue] function.
Even if that would be locked behind developer or advanced mode or whatever, especially since this type of error doesnt break anything if you continue, as confirming its validity is as simple as looking at the toolhead to check the cutter position.
It probably regards cutter stuck as a critical error because it usually means the cutter is stuck, with a steel blade physically blocking the path of filament thru the system. Not usually something you can force thru
Signs point to this being the fix Replace the Extruder Filament Sensor - P1 Series | Bambu Lab Wiki but if you don’t have thr part on hand, unplugging and replugging sounds in order.
Same problem here. With both external spool and AMS. have disassembled toolhead, cleaned it, found no broken filaments, double-checked all wiring connections. I’m waiting for response from Tech Support, but I strongly suspect I need a new Filament Cutter Sensor, based on reading many wiki articles. It did surprisingly, work for one print, which indicated it was intermittent until complete failure.
