Cleaning P1S rods

I use Ethyl alcohol for cleaning the pei plate, it works well for me, i have read that i have to use IPA for the rods, can i use Ethyl alcohol instead IPA?

The only difference is that IPA is a slightly different chemical, in terms of the ability to clean those rods it makes little to no difference.
If the white cloth is clean, the rods are clean as well, IPA might do it a bit faster but that’s about it.

Both can clean the rods. I only use IPA, but in any case, look at the purity degree, as you need to avoid other substances and ensure fast evaporation.
