Hello, I’ve recently noticed a clicking noise coming from the back left corner when homing is done. Strangely, the noise stops briefly after I spray IPA in the corner. But after the print head has moved back and forth a few times, it starts again. It would be great if someone could help me.

I don’t have much to add on the H2D specific noise profile, but spraying IPA back in the belts, rods, and gears of the motion system is something I wouldn’t personally do… others might have stronger opinions…
It’s hard to tell about the noise, but do not spray IPA in there, ever.
What could happen? Other than oil going away from the rods. Can’t imagine it would do something to the belt. I of course reoiled it afterwards. I did it because I thought I might have added too much oil. I also uploaded a new video that shows it better
IPA will dry out the belts over time.
It turned out that this clicking was caused by too much oil. That’s weird. Would someone be able to try adding more oil on the left rail to see if it also starts making a clicking sound when homing?
