I’m sure someone can enlighten me on what must be a simple problem. Every time I try to clone in Bambu Studio, the print fails. I’ve tried 2 different X1C and an H2S so I’m sure I’m doing something wrong. The latest attempt was duplicating few small articulated hot dogs and after the first few layers, they all fell apart except for the original. I use either Bambu or Elegoo PLA and the Bambu textured PEI plate. I’m not a fan of glue, but if that’s the solution, I’ll give it a try. I’d appreciate any help.

I’ve never had to do anything special after cloning a part, besides maybe moving the clones around. Just r-click and “clone.” It’s always to good idea to carefully check the slicing preview, of course, before sending to printer. But I’ve not seen the cloning process itself cause issues.
With some particular models and filaments it may be better to print them “by object,” for example to promote better layer bonding on larger pieces or prevent stringing with some “difficult” materials. But for some small PLA pieces… that sounds unlikely.
Sometimes the aux fan can screw up pieces placed right in front of it. Not sure the X1 has one. Aux fan can be changed/disabled in filament settings.
I think it would be easier for people to help if you can post the project file you’re having the issue with, or some version that recreates the problem. Maybe pictures of what “fell apart” means, if you have 'em. I doubt it has anything to do with the cloning itself, but OTOH maybe there’s some Studio bug going on with your particular setup… hard to say right now.
