Close to 100 likes.. what to expect next?

After getting an A1 Mini back in June I created some designs which I uploaded to MakerWorld. I’m now at 95 likes across all my models, which I really happy about and have enjoyed giving back to the community, as well as learning a new skill/hobby.

I seem to remember reading that when I get 100 likes I can make my models exclusive, and that might help promote them more on MakerWorld.

Did anyone crossing the 100 like threshold notice a big jump in their models getting more exposure, or anything other benefits like that?

Welcome to the forum!

It’s not likes, it’s 100 prints. But you’re almost to that goal also.

The only real exposure you’ll get is from being listed on the “exclusive” tab, but it’s constantly moving just like the new upload tab. The real benefit is more points per event. Like instead of 12 points you’ll get 15, or instead of 15 you’ll get 18.75.

Perfect, thank you. And thanks for the link… I didn’t spot that in a quick search before. The section for ’ Model types not meeting requirements’ is useful; I’ll make sure mine meet their criteria.

You light-box idea is brilliant! Love it!!! One can add fairy lights behind it and boom!

Thank you! I was really pleased with how it came out. I’d not done a model that needed to have such a close fit.

I’m looking forward to more people discovering the design, then posting pictures of it :slightly_smiling_face: There’s something amazing about seeing something you’ve designed printed out in someone else’s home!

Congratulations on reaching 95 likes! This is a fantastic achievement and a clear sign that the community really appreciates your work. Well done! I myself have just passed the 100 likes mark, with 41 prints of my models at the moment. I have great respect for your results — you are doing an amazing job! Keep up the good work!

Make sure to make your models part of the exclusive program, once you get that option. So also the existing models (assuming you did not post them on other sites). Slowely the points will start building up. I have quite a few designs but nothing major popular, but I still get around 600 points per month or so.
