Basically the cloud on my end is barely working. sometimes takes 1 hour to just send the print model (downloading is the problem, not uploading) and sometimes just gives me an error which says there was a problem.
My connection is perfectly fine. No Upload nor Download issue, i would notice also since i play online games.
I tried WLAN mode, problem is my pc does NOT see the a1 even if it is connected to the SAME Wlan, which is 2.4 GHZ. They just do not find eachothers. i did not have any problem with sending via cloud, it started randomly 5 days ago and i could not find a solution.
PC is fine with no issue, connection is perfect, connection test from printer to modem is perfect, connection test from pc to modem is perfect.
At the moment im writing i am NOT able to even print. it just stops and gives me an error and to try again. Would use SD Card (tho i did purchase a wifi printer, hell why should i do it) but i have NO SD Reader…
Possible solutions, the SD card that is sent with the machine is not of great quality. You might need to get a new SD card as a bad card can cause a variety of weird problems with the printer.
Even though the printer can format a new SD card, I suggest that you get and SD card reader/writer for your PC as it is easier to do on the PC and you can format larger cards.
A full SD card will cause issues with downloading prints from handy or studio as that is where they are stored before being sent to the machines internal memory before printing. Try going into Bambu studio or handy and deleting saved prints on the SD card and timelapse videos as those take a lot of memory on the card.
I did read about this I just forgot to write my experience with the SD. It is empty since I formatted it via the printer settings, I tried another one (as a photographer in full of SD and Micro SD plus other CF cards) but even with new one and high-end one it did not change. I’m trying to figure out how to just bypass this by not using the cloud at all, but seems like I can’t find my printer via the same 2.4ghz network.
I usually connect my cameras via USBC or just wireless download my works, I just have a CF card reader, maybe I can buy an adapter if there is any, still the wireless communication is priceless.
ONE VERY IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE ABOUT
IF I use the bambù handy app and print from there, it’s basically instant! I mean from maker world it does loads without problems…. This is happening only via PC, and since I make 3D things myself to print it’s kinda painful. So it’s indeed PC related I guess?
Not an antivirus or some bs blocking or slowing it, since they are whitelisted
I’m having the same problem with mine, works from my mobile but won’t work with either my work or personal laptop and as I’m designing my own stuff the mobile app is really not a solution.
Having had the thing for almost 5 weeks I’m absolutely sick of things going wrong with it. My solution is expensive, I’m going to throw it out and buy something for half the price and twice the usefulness like I wish I had done in the first place.
If anyone wants a nearly new bampu P0S it will be outside next to the bin. I can’t guarantee it won’t be subject to some “stress relief” first though.
