In the wiki, it covers the cold pull function and mentions being able to adjust the cold pull temperature in 5 degree increments if the pre-set temperatures don’t work quite right. Has anyone worked out how to change these temps? For the life of me I can’t see how to do it on the machine, nor in Bambu Studio.
Any ideas?
I’ve never seen anything that didn’t work except from temp too low. I once did a cold pull like 10 attempts at 290C and it didn’t really clean out the debris inside. Then I went for 320C, voila problem solved.
If you don’t mind the fumes, just go 320C using the cold pull function in the printer.

It’s not the upper melting temperature the wiki talks about adjusting, but the lower temperature, the actual cold pull temperature. The actual cold pulling happens when the machine cools to 85deg C, and that is what is supposedly adjustable. Somehow.
In that wiki page you linked, I’m referring to section below the heading " Cold Pull Temperature Selection".
I should add that I’m using eSun cleaning filament for the cold pull and sometimes it gets jammed when the machine cold pulls, so I want to experiment what a different cold pull temp.
Cleaning filament is largely unnecessary and it was developed for hotends before PLA cold pull era, PLA is effective even for PPA-CF. The popularity of PLA cold pull made the (often nylon based?) cleaning filament quite uncommon nowadays. In such case you would need to do it manually. Though I think for H2D it might block you from operating the extruder if the temp is too low
Pla cold pull really does work well. I still like cleaning filament for getting silk’s greasy shmoo out of the nozzle, very quickly
I have 3 packs of the cleaning filament from way before I had this H2D, so I want to use it up. It’s not so much the filament I’m using, but rather I’m trying to figure out this cold pull feature which the wiki describes, (adjusting the cold pull temperature , the low end temperature), but seems to not be possible to actually do it.
I randomly get packets of cleaning filament bundled alongside regular filament.
It’s useful when you’re cleaning up after having used abs/asa or anything like silk or even matte filaments or stuff with carbon fibre because its clear and so you can see small changes.
I know clear PLA exists (… ish. not gonna get into that, but–) but its usually a lot more expensive so ehn I still use cleaning filament.
