Collabs/Credits to MakerWorld

After using MakerWorld much more frequently recently, I wish Bambu would add 2 things

  1. Collabs, this would allow two different designers to work together and publish a model, and show up under both designers. The points (boosts, etc) would be split evenly between them. Could possibly support 2/3/4 creators? The others would have to accept (obviously)
  2. Credit, this would allow a credits section beneath a model to thank people for help, idea, etc without them actually apart of it, unlike collabs, the points would not be split evenly, but a precent could be given to them.

What do you guys think?

@MakerWorld, @BambuLab ?

Collabs: If this becomes a thing, then one model can appear under 1,000 accounts and flood MW. A dream for point cheaters.
Credits: 1,000 accounts will pool their points towards one or a few accounts. Another dream for cheaters.

If you want to collaborate, elect a project leader. The leader uploads the models, collects the points, and then distributes rewards outside the MW system. If that’s not worth doing, it’s not worth doing the project in the first place.

MW is not likely to implement this feature. It’s too much work for almost no reward from their perspective.
