Please Encourage contributors to be more specific with their color recomendations. Sometimes when I find a complicated model that is colored really nice, I am dissapointed when the recommended colors are not more specific. As per the screenshot example below, it shows me a sample of color and how many grams of filament are required but does not give me the specific color. For example, there are so many beige/tan colors of basic and matte PLA, it is hard to determine what exact color the model creator recommends. I have never uploaded a model, but I imagine there must be an option to plug in the colors you recommend. If those options could be more specific, it would be very helpful.
You can add Bambu filaments as options in the “Bill of materials” when posting a model, with purchase links for the filament.
I suspect most people don’t specifically list out the exact colours to let you use what you have / your brand of preference.

There are no options to specify the colors in your model. There is one possible solution though, to add a bill of materials. It gives you the materials required to print that, and thus the rolls of filament and color that were used.
Other than that you cannot change anything in the panel you have a screenshot of, I know as I uploaded a model and only thing to indicate the color used was to add bill of materials with my filaments and colors.
That’s a very good reason why most may not want to post exact filaments and colors used, to give you creative freedom to use whatever you have, and possibly make it even better.
I often use different colors than the designer shows in their photos and descriptions, but occasionally, I see a model so nicely colored that I want to create an exact copy if I can but am frustrated when I have to guess what blue or beige they used. I am also a bit color blind, so seeing a sample color without the name can be challenging for me. I do not at all blame the model uploader, I just want to encourage Bambu to name the colors alongside the sample. Thanks to everyone for contributing to the conversation!
Those colours are provided by the settings in the 3MF, download it and see if the colours are listed with specific brands or not, outside of that its not likely most people will include them
The ones you shared from the image are just from the 3MF, specifically just hex values.
They do not relate to the filaments chosen when printing.
I have been adding the filaments used to the bottom of the description for some time. I now also add it to the Bill of Materials (BoM).
I would always recommend people do the BoM, if not to make it easier for others (like I do), there is the potential for future revenue sharing.

Yes, you’re right, there is… if you check out the models via the website you’ll see them listed on the BOM is the designer added them. As in this screenshot…
…as a designer you can even add additional materials required for the model. There’s even room for comments with the material, so I can tell you exactly where you’ll need the self-adhesive mirror film. The problem is that for some reason the filament will not be listed when you use the app…

We’re really trying our best; most of us anyway… this is a feature request for the app or you’ll have to go via the webpage to get these details. Either way, the information is there, just not visible in the app. Yes, we could list the filament in the description as well, but then there’d be two places to add/update information that has already been provided.
