If you’ve printed a multicolor print and want to print another copy of it in different colors, is there a way in Bambu Studio to import the previous print, and then, for example, change everything that was painted red in the first copy and automatically change all red parts to blue in the new copy? I have not been able to figure out how to do this, so I’m not sure that it is possible in Bambu Studio right now, but if not, I’d sure like to see this feature added to the program in the future! It would sure make printing multiple copies of a print in several different multicolors a whole lot easier than having to repaint each new copy.
The easiest way is to just click into the filament description box and pick one of the available AMS filaments.
I know your are asking how to do it in Bambu Studio (BS) and @EnoTheThracian has you sorted.
If you are asking the easiest way to achieve your goal, there is a different way that doesn’t use BS.
If you use the Bambu Handy (BH) app at all, did not need to be part of how you initiated your print you can reprint from that and toggle the print colours when the AMS tool comes up.
You can also use this technique in BS, leave all filament assignments in BS as they are, slice and use the print button p, now change the ANS assignments on that screen.
You may have used red, white and blue, now assign them as black yellow and red. Print and everything swaps out for you.
