Commercial Licence Memberships - creator questions

Hello!

I have 2 questions from creator perspective:

  • When you receive a Paypal transfer for commercial licenses, does it come directly from the buyer or from MakerWorld account? This is important for tax purposes.

  • As a creator, can you stop granting licenses at any time?

  1. The PayPal payment comes directly from the buyer’s email address.
  2. Yes, you can stop offering memberships at any time.

I have never used Paypal - when you receive payment, can you identify the buyer? I mean name, address, country. It’s important for tax purposes in my country

From what I receive, I only get the name and email. PayPal does record/account for tax though, at least for me in the US

PayPal doesn’t work in Russia. How can I pay for my subscription?

make sure you register business paypal account, if not they might ban you completly for life, happend to me over 1.49$ from MW

do you really need business account? In my country you don’t need to have own company for selling copyrights

in Canada yes 100%, I’m banned for life from PayPal over this, and I had personal account for over 20y without single complain or issue. 1.49$ did it
