Community Tab: Defaulting to Following

As we all may have noticed, the community tab contains a lot of spam - But I still think it’s a good addition to make something useful.

I suggest changing the default to following and leave the “Explore” option as an option you can opt in, or if you search for Tags etc, or if you are not following anyone yet.

This “could” improve the perception of the feature, as you would just unfollow the spammers and still keep the updates from the people you would like to see updates from or even get notifications when they post something new. It would also give regular users a better incentive to follow a creator.

Changing the default to “Following” is great, it would really help with the purpose of following someone to keep up with what they’re working on

I love the idea, but one thought is that they could update the home page algorithm to show more of the creators that they follow higher up in the feed while mixing in high quality posts from designers that they don’t follow, so more designers with less followers can be seen.

The other thing is to essentially de-rank posts that use the word “boosts”, or have low effort polls.
