When launching Bambu Studio, I was prompted with the option to install an update to its configuration package. However, the release notes it provides are unreadable, as they extend beyond the boundary of the textbox and it is not possible to resize the window or scroll.
Additionally, the notes that are within the window mention an update to the machine start and filament change g-code for P2S that particularly interested in – is there anywhere that Bambu Lab publishes more detail about what the specific changes are?
Yeah, naturally this is going to vary system-to-system depending on both display hardware and software configuration, but it’s a small usability bug that could be fixed pretty simply.
Same issue here. The configuration update dialog for BBL 2.4.0.7 cuts off the release notes and there is no way to scroll or resize the window, so I cannot read the full text.
I am interested in the new features mentioned around:
External exhaust fan kit support
Post-print air purify / clean-air function
since the text is truncated and I cannot find these release notes documented anywhere online, I am stuck guessing what changed and what firmware or hardware requirements there are.
Request:
Fix the dialog so the full release notes are readable (scrollable or resizable window).
Publish the configuration / firmware release notes somewhere accessible on the web or in the app so they can be referenced later.
Handy is really good for a quick print but unfortunately does not allow you to customize the setting (at least not in anything I have yet found). So if you want a different filament/bed temperature you will need to use studio.
