Hello, I’ve got an old mac, running Mojave. So I can’t use Bambu Studio except on PC emulator, which is not good.
Prusa slicer is not version limited, and runs on old macs, which is ecological and… good for me !
I try to connect them vis Lan mode but I don’t succeed. Anyone can help me out here ?

PS : I know Bambu wants to avoid this but I’m trying anyway, figuring I’m not the only one with this problem.
Have you tried orca slicer on lan mode? Not sure it might work.
no it’s like BS, no older apps available for Mojave
the newer bambu lab printer firmware only let you use third party/not bambu slicers through a different program, i think bambu connect. as you likely cannot download this, I would recommend rolling back your printer firmware to the one directly before the security measures were imposed.
Downgrading your firmware isn’t going help in this situation. Prusa slicer just isn’t compatible to connect directly to a Bambu printer and function in place of Bambu Studio.
You could perhaps use a web-based slicer like Kiri:Moto to as it can slice and control your printer in LAN mode.
it should work, it worked for orca slicer.
The communication protocols are completely different. Orca was forked (based) on Bambu Studio and this is why it works.

The MacOS release of Bambu Studio includes the same functionality as the Windows release, which requires the minimum OS version of 10.15.
Edit: I was looking to see if an AI claim I saw that said BS 1.6.2 or earlier might work could be valid but this seems to rule that out.
