Connector hole not showing up in stl

I got this design: lock puzzle - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld

One user found out that when downloading the stl, the hole for the connector is NOT generated. This should be a bug from the makerworld, right? I never upload stl. Only uploaded 3mf

Hello, the pictures you uploaded are made in bambu studio? If i’m right the issue is clear. For making holes it is recommendable to make them when designing the part in the design program (Fusion, Tinkercad, Blender….) What you did was add negative parts on bambu studio, which only affect the gcode of the printer. (Basically a modifier that says: 0% infill, no walls, no top or bottom layers), which means that these settings can only be saved on a 3mf, which saves geometry and gcode. Stl ONLY saves REAL geometry, not gcode edits.

EDIT: Are you using modifiers? I’m not sure (: If not, where did you design it and where and did you do the holes?

Go ahead and slice the file and see if the holes are in the sliced model. It is a ‘bug’ in Studio that negative parts don’t show until sliced, especially holes for connectors when the part is cut in Studio.
