Connectors broke my model?

So the bottom is supposed to be flat. But as you can see from the 2nd picture, it looks like my model is raised about 0.2mm on one side. And it’s not even square. The raised section looks jagged. So I thought, ok, I’ll just move the model down slightly so the plate can help me level it. But the model keeps snapping back to the plate. I tried adding a primitive cube to help anchor, but that seems to break the model. I can’t merge the entire model together either.

This model was sliced from a bigger model. I wanted to use connectors to put the piece together. Part of me feels it’s the cut and connectors that’s causing this problem.

Exporting the model as STL removes those connector holes at the bottom. How do I fix this?

I think the only option is control-z….

When the model was cut the axis for the cut may have been tilted by a degree. If you have the original model you can try again. Make sure the model is flat on the plate before making the cut.
