NOTE: This has gone up $2 (still pretty cheap) since posted as below

3DHOJOR is eSun, and the eSun version of this white filament is unique, it has very high opacity and looks quite “industrial” if that is the look you need for something. I think this is about $7/kg if you buy 8, $8/kg if you buy 3.

Jayo is SUNLU.

Prints with PETG-HF settings, looks about the same. The white is a bit more translucent than the Bambu.

$10/kg

Those are god prices. I used to shop the deals like that. But once you identify your favorite filament brand, look for buying in 10kg lots to get good pricing on the brand you want without having to wait for a sale, and probably buy it on aliexpress if you want the rock bottom price of around $8 per roll while still getting free delivery.

When I was shopping just the sales, it lead to a lot of extra work dialing in new filaments, such as shrinkage compensation factor. So, it was ultimately self defeating. I’d rather stick with one or two brands and not have to constantly calibrate some new filament, just because it was on sale.

Kingroon has minimally acceptable HS filaments, and generally the lowest pricea and easiest availabilty via aliexpress, so I’ve gravitted toward that as my everyday, even though I marginally prefer Sunlu HS filaments, but where the Sunlu pricing and availability seem to vary a lot more. Close enough. You can easily pay 1/2 to 1/3 as much as a Polymaker filament.

Qidi white s-support half price. This is an advanced material, caveat emptor.

This one has some twists, turns and hoops to jump through but it’s worth it (IMO).

Ebay has an off and on promotion where if you sell ONE item you get a $50 off a $125 purchase coupon. Elegoo filament is always on sale. 10 for the price of 6 and whatnot.

To get to the $125 total I had to add an 11th spool.

In the end 11 spools of Elegoo PLA+ for $91.56… so $8.32 per roll!
