Corrupting SD Card

Is there a way to eject the SD card from an X1 Carbon? My SD card gets corrupted nearly every time I take it out. I cannot use wifi at the company I work for so I have to use it.

There is no way to “eject” the sd card that I know of. If you’re having struggles with corruption, make sure that timelapse is turned off and also to be safe, power down the machine when you removed the card. This shouldn’t be too much of an issue as I’ve always found I have to power cycle the printer to get it to read a newly inserted card.

“Eject” would be a nice feature for Bambu to add.

I’ve tried powering it down, it still corrupts the card. It always recognizes the sd card for me.

Weird question, where does Bambu put the SD card that ships with the printer? I never found it and am using a 16 Gb I had laying around. I did format it on the printer.

The X series doesn’t ship with an SD card as it doesn’t need it to print. Only the P and A series printers ship with them.

I’m assuming you have already tried different brands/sizes of SD card? The corruption thing isn’t normal.

Is there a recommended brand and size to use?

Never mind, found it. Sandisk Ultra 64 Gb. I found one actually. I formatted it on the printer and Windows still says it is corrupt. I don’t have this problem with any of the other SD cards I use.
