So i installed the new public beta 2.2.0.60 and when i go to click on extruder under printer settings. The program just crashes. not sure why or if this is a bug in general but could use some help either way.
The same thing happens when I try this so it is probably a bug in the beta edition.

I have had the same thing happen. Running Windows 10 with the 02.02.00.60. Does it happen with the newer Beta version 02.02.00.68?
It was only on the older beta version.
