Hi. I am a complete novice at 3D printing, which is maybe ambitious at the age of 70! I am trying to create a printable version of the attached image (without the strap through the eyes). This is a mask that my grandchildren love when we pass it each day after school pickup. They call it the “Angry bear!” I would love to print a version to hang on our garden wall.
I have tried using ChatGPT with no success. Can anyone advise me how to do this without subscribing to a service that I won’t need again? Or would any of you lovely people create an STL file for me? Any help much appreciated.
What i sometimes do is after import the generated model in to blender and 3d sculpt to give it more detail. (Depends what size you want to print it you should use a .2 nozzle)
I would also recommend the makerworld tool to turn a photo into a 3d model.
The other alternative is a very lengthly learning process, or a lot of money. But if you are interested in learning rather than hiring a sculptor, this type of model will be made with “mesh modelling” using software such as Blender, Maya or ZBrush. It will not be done in Engineering CAD programs (at least not usually, there is always that one person who can make anything with anything but it only works for that one person and no-one else).
