Custom filament info keeps getting lost between AMS and Studio

It was probably requested before, or I am just not compatible with my P1S and AMS…
Anyway:

I often struggle with new filaments in terms of creating custom profiles for it that actually stick.
Would love a way to get the filaments for the AMS set by more than their generic profiles.

For example:
I get a new roll of blue PLA from company XXX.
I do the usual calibration and all, set a colour for the filament as well and the AMS seems happy.
Sadly there is no way to sync the AMS in a way that NON-Bambu rolls show up properly.
In studio I keep getting the GENERIC PLA profiles, not the ones set up for the rolls in question.
Funny enough the colours are taken over, just not the settings.
Only way to ‘fix’ this is to manually select the filaments from the user profiles.

While I do understand that without a chip the AMS does not know what is inside:
The AMS should not loose the info or Studio should not loose it.
Auto refill is on, no check for filament change, so by all means, once set the roll should stay the same and not revert to a generic profile…
Is there a way to fix this, or did I miss something?
