Custom Filament Profile custom temperature not respected

I want to tweak the print temperature for a custom filament but no matter what I do the temperature defaults to the temperature set in the base profile. Ideally I’d like to create a custom filament from scratch with my own settings vs basing it off of a profile that limits what settings I can modify. Can anyone enlighten me as to how I can go about this?

Okay I found a kludge but it’s a PITA…

%appdata%\bambustudio\system\BBL\filament Then use an editor, e.g. notepad++, to edit the profile you want to modify temperatures then save and create custom profile based on it then revert to default on the built in profile and save it.

Is there a better way? I’m going to play a bit more but after a fair amount of wasted time I’m able to print at the desired temp so I’m going to finish what I intended to do before I see if I can add a custom filament in the default folder.

Could it be that you’re using a high-flow (HF) nozzle but inadvertently adjusted the temperature for the standard nozzle? I’ve made that mistake a few times when I forgot to change the dropdown in the filament settings.

That’s exactly what it was… Once I switched to HF I can swap back and forth and all works well…
Thanks!!!
