Somewhat new issue, for the last month or two I’ve noticed my custom profiles are constantly being overwritten. I’m not saving them, it’s just happening without my direction or consent.
It’s become a pretty annoying issue, as I have to adjust the settings almost every time, and have had numerous failures due to unexpected saves.
Anyone else? I’m on the latest version of BambuStudio.

No-config / only default profiles?
I have a “0.20mm Standard Custom” profile preset that I have had for almost 2 years now. Sometimes I need to tweak individual settings for walls, infill or supports.
In the past those settings changes were exclusive to the .3mf project I was working on. Now I will find randomly those settings get saved overwriting the “0.20mm Standard Custom” profile I had made.
It used to require manually saving those changes to actually change “0.20mm Standard Custom”. Now it sometimes remembers those tweaks and saves it without my consent.
Ok, well, only thing I can suggest is that when closing the program,
and this one means save to profile, not to file
I am experiencing this same issue and it is very annoying. I don’t save any modifications to the profile, but somehow they get overwritten when another file tweaks settings while using that profile, even though no changes are ever saved for that profile. I have had multiple prints get thrown off because despite using the same profile, the settings got changed!
I’m having this problem too. Incredibly frustrating. I’ve found it’s intermittent. Not reliably repeatable.
I’ve created a few custom process settings. Mostly to limit print speeds for when I’m printing with ABS-GF or PA6-GF, and also to create my own “defaults” to include arachne wall generator, precise Z height, gyroid infill, etc.
Just happened again yesterday. I was working on a project where I changed my custom preset to have 4 walls and enforce bottom/top shell thickness. And just randomly now it’s somehow overwritten my preset with those values.
Bambu please fix this!

i’m not this problem because i rename it as “figurine creux” or “ asa profile”
Seen this issue many times. profiles just get deleted with software updates. I’ve also seen material profiles revert to previous versions randomly. It is a mess.
Did you find a solution? For the past few months, my profiles randomly get their speed settings overwritten. Example, profile for small, detailed parts with max speeds below 120 mm/s, when I reopen B Studio, that profile will have an outer wall speed of 350mm/s, inner wall of 400mm/s, etc. Anyone else?
