Issue: Custom Support Filament Profiles Not Mapping Correctly in Bambu Studio 2.5.0.66
Printer: H2D, firmware: latest (01.02.02.00)
I’m running into the following error in Bambu Studio 2.5.0.66:
“Not all filaments used in slicing are mapped to the printer. Please check the mapping of the filaments.”
This happens specifically when I create a custom filament profile for Support for PA/PET (Fiberon) and mark it as “Support Material” in the filament settings.
What I’m doing

I create a custom support filament profile, either:

Based on the Bambu PA/PET Support profile, or

Based on Nylon, then modified for Fiberon Support for PA/PET

I mark the filament as Support Material so that:

It can be selected properly in the AMS

Bambu Studio automatically applies correct support interface spacing and parameters

I then load this filament into the AMS and assign it as the support material in the Support settings
The problem

As soon as the filament is flagged as Support Material, slicing fails with the mapping error above

If I uncheck the “Support Material” flag:

Slicing works normally

The filament maps correctly to the AMS

I’ve seen this behavior before when creating custom profiles derived from Bambu’s own Support Material profiles
Workaround
- Leave the filament as support material, allow slicer to automatically apply support material parameters then adjust the filament settings by unchecking “Support Material”
Attached are two images, the first is if I indicate the filament is support material, the 2nd is when I uncheck that box and it works and maps correctly.
