Custom text edit lost my fonts list

Hey everyone,

I’m just a couple months into the world of 3D printing with my P1S and loving it. Working on some stuff for a friend’s Halloween day wedding and am trying to do a custom desk plate to say “RESERVE” for the tables and I was working on testing some fonts went Lab flickered and crashed on me and now when I go back in, even with a fresh download of the STL the font list only allows for Strawberry Fields (I do a ton of cricut SVG work so I have a lot of fonts) The horror ones I had installed were in the list before and now Lab isn’t even giving me boring old Times or anything. Can someone give me some possible troubleshooting steps to reconnect Lab to the Font file on my PC. (running Win 11)

Has it been replaced by an official list ?

says Courier New on the line and then when it opens it is just Strawberry Fields Love

sorry it wouldn’t let me screen shot had to grab a pic with my phone

I am liking the new? look for text objects though

Where is the error message coming from ?

I do not necessarily know the answer but I think fonts are handled by Windows and apps access the Windows font list and load it.

Are the fonts you are looking for available in Windows–> Settings–>Fonts ?

I’ll check at lunch. They are for sure in the fonts file. I can try adding a new text field instead of editing the existing field too at lunch. Work remote but gotta give the corporation my time Thanks for the suggestions will post what I find later today

try deleting the old tex in object mode the reapply it

I know we still need to get your Bambu Studio fixed but if the wedding grows nigh and you need me to put this together for you just let me know the font and the model.

Ok, so yes the fonts are available in Windows Setting Fonts - shows 1776 fonts available. I did try removing the text and then adding a new text field and it is still only giving me the single Strawberry Fields Love. I’m going to restart the entire system, I had left it up during the day and see if that resets the system next.

Woohoo! the restart fixed the font issue but I’m getting this error at the bottom of the text edit popup. I did move the text and save so will see if that fixes this error, but that happens every time I open this file.
