I have a H2D Laser bundle, and trying out the cutter.
I have a roll of clear vinyl that i am trying to cut. it’s 0.70 mm thick.
Whatever I try i cannot get it to cut… tried a bunch of calibration tests. and once there is one that somewhat works. and use those values, then when i use it, it doesn’t cut at all.
2nd. the vinyl i use is non sticky on both sites. if i use the light sticky board. that glue stuff is getting on the vinyl and cannot remove it.
Is there a better way to cut ?
3rd, how do i clean the plate from all the debrie and other stuff?
i tried some water, but that took the whole glue layer off.
When you say it doesn’t cut, do you mean it never reaches the point of cutting through the material? Or do you mean it cuts but not deep enough to cut through the material?
Lol I tried to cut 1mm thick acrylic with it. I set it to cut over the area 3 times with 1mm thick material but all it did was score the top. I had to snap off the acrylic windows and sometimes they cracked.
I got the lasered acrylic windows back from the company! They are 2mm x 110mm x 22mm and they fit perfect! Cheap too! Only a dollar each. I got 50 and it is easy to reorder. I got enough to make 25 sets.
I’d post the pics but this stupid forum doesn’t allow the large dimensions and I am too lazy to convert the pics so just imagine a bag full of little windows with the plastic still on both sides to peel off.
