I have assembled the standard Cyberbrick controller and forklift. I have paired them with the app on the Android phone for the left joystick. But there is a significant and variable latency - delay between moving the controller and the forklift responding. The forklift then gives several seconds of response before another delay of variable length.
Any suggestions
That is not normal experience if you are sending commands using the app UI.
If you write code manually to control those actions, then yes, there are often delays between initiated input to received output.
Roughly a second when controlling the LEDs as an example.
Thank you for the quick response.
Would it be reasonable to download new json’s for the controller and forklift? If so, is there a procedure to remove the existing, perhaps corrupted, ones?

Old ones are simply replaced by new ones. You do not need (or can) delete old ones to my knowledge.
You could reset the boards and start again if you aim for them to be empty first.

sad, I am playing the Mini T, if I directly use official CB to control the servo to launch the bullet, it is 0 lantency, however, if I press too quickly, the launch mechanical may stuck. So I used the code to add delay after each launch, then it brings about 0.5~1 second delay after I press the left shoulder button. I wish next version this delay for code can be resolved. or at least in offical CB software it could add an optional dealy for each button pressing.
I am using the Android App, which I reloaded. Using the reset buttons, I have reset the cyberbrick controller board. The App still believes the old profile exists and will not offer a download of the standard JSON. My general criticism is that the instructions for accessing these JSON’s are too hard to find. No access on the Android app. The lack of written guidance in getting the electronics to work is frustrating.
I have the same exact issue. Have you found any resolution to this problem?
Sorry to hear of your difficulty. To date, I have not had any success in reloading the standard JSON. I removed the old (corrupted?) version, but the Android app does not seem to allow me to reload the JSON. Due to these frustrations, I have put this project on hold until I recover some motivation. I would love to hear about some success, if you have it!
