Cyberbrick Desktop App Manual/instructions/Anything

Where can I find an official manual, or instructions, or anything really to tell me how to use the desktop Cyberbrick application?

I can’t find even the most basic instructions to setup and pair the Cyberbrick remote with a model (and receiver).

Is it just me or is it very hard to find any information for the Cyberbrick platform (beyond a few basic things for the mobile app)? Even the Cyberbrick wiki is extremely lacking… Was this platform just recently release or is Bambu just not interested in supporting it?

Here’s a page that shows how to pair boards using the desktop app: CyberBrick Software | Bambu Lab Wiki

There is also an entire wiki on writing micropython, which is what its actually running

To help you on this specific point:

  • Download the mobile app CyberBrick for iOS and Android.
  • Select getting started
  • Search for your model of choice.
  • Print if you haven’t already
  • Assemble if you haven’t already
  • Connect <<<<<<<< This is the fastest way.

Thank you, but I prefer to use the desktop app.

I wish it were as easy to use the desktop app as the mobile app. It seems Bambu really wants everyone to use the mobile app… Or they don’t care to make using the desktop app accessible.

I believe the focus is this:

  • Desktop App: for designers to set things up.
  • Mobile App: for users to print, assemble and connect.

There are cross overs between the two of course.

Thank you.

None of this is really explained well or laid out in a single place. I’ve been able to find bits and pieces and am starting to get everything put together.

It’s a fairly new addition but you can now open projects from MakerWorld within the desktop app using the button in the project page. This brings it a bit closer to the ease of the mobile app.
