CyberBrick Forklift Issue

Got the forklift all put together every thing works great except the mast won’t go up all the way. It goes up about half an inch and then when I release the trigger it goes back down. Anyone else having this issue. My guess is it’s user error, I just can’t figure it out.

Did you get two (2) servos in your kit or just one? If two, try replacing the servo with the other one. My guess is you installed the 180° (angular) servo instead of the 360° servo.

I sure did install the 180 version!
Like I said… user error! :man_facepalming:
Thank you for the help

You’re welcome! Glad you got it sorted out

Has anyone figured out how to make 2 models work with one remote? I can’t seem to figure it out.

The rocker switch changes which receiver it talks to. When you pair with your first device, Truck, for example, make sure your rocker switch is in a known position. When that is done, turn off the truck, turn off the remote, flip the rocker switch to the opposite position, and then pair with the forklift.

Once that’s done, you can flip the switch and talk to one or the other.

Thanks for this. I made the same mistake and was able to fix it in just a few minutes.

Hello everyone,
Has anyone else had issues with the fork parts not sliding smoothly? I’ve checked the servo and it’s the correct model, but when I press the up/down button the movement feels very stiff. Could this be due to the dimensions/tolerances of the two parts or did I assemble the gears incorrectly? Any ideas or troubleshooting tips are appreciated — thanks!
