I got the Cyberbrick MiniTank kit and built my first tank. It went well overall, but I’m having major problems with the servo joint for the disc launcher. I’m setting the angle exactly as described in the instructions, and everything works fine when I test it in “empty” mode (Picture 1). But as soon as I load more than one disc, something gets stuck, and the angle shifts backward (Picture 2). It seems like something is jammed. Does anyone know anything about this?

Did you screw the bracket in place with the screw, or did you just insert it like I did the first time based on the pictures in the instructions? I think they just forgot to show it! After I screwed the bracket in place with the screw provided, it worked for me!!! sry for my englisch, i am no native and this is created with deepl ![]()

There is a secound case
Sometimes when I put too many discs in the shooting device, it gets stuck briefly or makes strange noises. After 2 or 3 attempts, however, it usually works again. but it is rarely. All in all, I think it’s a very successful model. My children love it, and with a few LEDs, everything is even better!
I have the same problem, the discs stop shooting, it jams almost, clicks a few times and makes the disc pop around (if you look inside from the top with only one disc). Not sure what’s going on but very sad
My girls are disappointed. If anyone has a fix please let me know.
Well I think I found the issue, but don’t have a 100% fix. The issue is the little “C” or “U” shaped piece in the launcher. It holds back the disc a little bit as it pushes to build up resistance before launching it. The problem is, if that piece is too stiff or holds back too much, it causes the servo to jitter and fail to launch. If you pull that “U” shaped piece apart a little so its not as much resistance, then it launches reliably, but with less force and the disc doesn’t fly as far… so finding that sweet spot is tough.
