When printing the official standard remote all part print except one problem see photo. I am using a PS1 and tried several filaments, generic PLA and Bambu labs Matte PLA, other objects print fine. I’ve cloned that part several times and get the same results, the print pauses and after resuming it generates spaghetti, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Terry
use some glue on the print bed where it wants to not bond and print slower for the whole print.
This part was problematic for me as well, I ended up changing build plate to blue biqu one, adding brim and it was the only time when it worked for me, all attempts on normal PEI even with glue were fails.
Do you have the Timelapse for it?
If so, upload it to YouTube and leave it as a private link, it will be public, but nit searchable.
Then paste the link here.
I have successfully printed two of the remotes using matte filaments on a textured plate using a P1S.
It is possible.
For clarity, do not use normal glue, it is specialty glue that enables parts to stick during printing and release after it cools down.
Regular glue with give you a permanent build p,late based model.
I never use it, that doesn’t mean others do not need to.
Printer won’t pause unless instructed in Gcode. Otherwise, it’s likely the printer is having trouble pulling filament into the hotend. Therefore printer thinks it’s out of filament and pauses.
- Make sure filament spool isn’t getting stuck
- Check the extruder Extruder clog | Bambu Lab Wiki
- Clean the hotend with filament cleaner https://amzn.to/43Thjc8
Thanks fdfor all the suggestions, adding a brim to the print worked. Still donb’t know why the prnt pauses 2/3 of the way through the print.
Thanks
MaicThe Oracle is right. I was not referring to normal glue, just Bambu Labs glue and it was the paste kind, not the liquid one. This was on a textured build plate too, where no scrim nor 1st layer printed so the 2nd layer didn’t have any thing to bond with. Otherwise the textured build plate is all i use and works great.
Just had a look at the slice for my print of this part - it has a pause showing on the height steps.
Just removed it by clicking on the little grey dot.
I’ve only moved stuff around between build plates and changed some colours so no idea why the pause is there but I’ve not added it.
