Dangerous for Left Handed People

Didn’t think of everyone, but then who really does

Try using a skill saw left handed.

Is there not a mod to move the screen?

Is there a remote control device that can command the printer?

I am not familar with the A-series. On the X and P, it is possible to remote command them and modify the door.

No and no. Unfortunately the X1 is the only one that people have hacked and made upgrades for (most of which trickle down to the P series as well).

Yes, you can remote command the printer via the app.

Friends I just want to make sure we stay on topic.

Current:the back button is on the top left of the screen (as close to the bed as possible)
Future: move the back button to the right side of the screen.

Solution: Use your right hand to press the button. That’s what I do if I have a print going that might hit my left hand. It doesn’t require a huge amount of dexterity, so which hand you use tends to not matter much.

Much less convenient than the screen as I don’t keep my phone on me all the time. By that logic I ought to just carry my laptop with me to start prints :upside_down_face:

I was replying to him. He asked if you could remote control it and I said yes. And I honestly prefer the app since I have a P1S.

I interpreted that as something like the Panda Touch

That would be helpful for left handed people. @SupportAssistant can you implement this feature?

I will share this idea with the team, for their consideration. :+1:

her, but I understand why you might assume him on this board

Upgrade to a an X1/P1/H2 series printer.

All left sided controls and no bed slinging.

I did have a Great Uncle that was left handed and forced to write with his right hand in school. Still the most beautiful and flowing cursive handwriting you would ever see. Not bad for a farm boy that only had a 9th grade education…

I too drove my teachers crazy with my poor left hand writing technique. I wrote vertically sometimes, and upside down and backwards other times. And that was when using a typewriter! It only got worse with a pencil and paper…

Still, I’m not a Sinister Scorpio for no reason. And as comfortable as I am with being ambidextrous because I’m forced to do so everyday of my comfortable, sad, little, pathetic life, that doesn’t mean I won’t whinge like a mewling little kitten about it anytime I can!

Not going to happen here. I already have a sufficiently large enough printer. I specifically got the Mini for the 180 cubed volume. And when the Qidi X Smart 3 was discontinued, the A1 Mini despite being a bedslinger, was the only game in town. At least the only other one that didn’t require me to order just a parts set with little to no manufacturer support. Vorons are cool for some. But I’m too old to want that hassle now. And the rest are worse for any support.

The left handers can make a fortune in points by making a magnetic hand you attach to the right-front corner that slaps your hand when the plate comes forward. Kind of an Inspector gadget spring hand.

I would do it, but i’m a normie right-hander. I have magnets coming in a shipment tho, so yall better be quick.

I would make a comment about using a hammer off handed but it isn’t that hard really… I used to do it a lot on pole barns that had tons of hand nails. Not that my left hand was any good, but it would get the job done.

I can’t hit a nail for the life of me. So glad when nail guns came available. And my Grandpa would tease me when I would use his tools that he didn’t have a left-handed saw for me to use.

Thank you so much :raised_hands: if the back button could be on the bottom left instead of the top left that would work too because my hand would be below the bed instead

Ive got all of them. Cut me some slack
