Dec2024 upgrade and P1S still doesn't turn of chamber light

I didn’t see a channel for P1S firmware so…

How utterly embarassing for BBL. The X1C will turn on the chamber light, do the job, then turn it off. Pretty simple.

There’s been countless posts about doing the same on the P1S. Clearly BBL knows how to manipulate the chamber light since they turn it on at the start of a new job. AND THEN LEAVE IT ON

I guess they just can’t figure out out how to flip the light back off - Just like my kids when they leave a room with the light on.

If it helps, there is G code for turning off the tool head light.

I appreciate the offer. I already have the tool head turned off.
Its the chamber light I’d like to see go off when the job is done

He is referring to the chamber light. The P1 does not have a lighted toolhead, that’s only on the X1.

Didn’t you get the memo? Bambu has spoke by deed and not by words. We ALL complained about this back in rev 1.04. So what did Bambu do, they made it permanently on starting in 1.05. Wasn’t that nice of them? I guess they showed us who’s the boss didn’t they?
