Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I would like to have the opportunity to make you understand that the “creators” in general accept your evaluations with the full awareness that they cannot be universally recognized as infallible and their creations please everyone 100%.
However, we would like you to understand that when you remove one or more stars from the 5 available, you would be doing something grateful and very useful to the creator and to all the people in the community if you also left a comment explaining where or how the flaw is, maybe tell us which printer you used, which filament… in short, some indication would probably allow us to do better and not repeat certain errors.
And instead, no, almost as if it were a shame, and almost seeming like revenge or punishment, here you are placing a rating <5 in complete silence.
I don’t know about you but I would like to learn from my mistakes and improve.
I actually got a 4 star review once and the person apologized because the Bambu app wouldn’t let them give 5 stars as there was a problem with the print - however, the problem was not the model but the filament. I am not sure I support this kind of “policing” of ratings by Bambu. But I guess in some cases this might be a reason for silent 4 star reviews.
I understand your point of view but, as you told, you got the person apologizing so, finally, the review wasn’t silent.
if it were really like that then more or less everyone should leave us a message in the same way to say that it did not depend on their will. Writing 4 words is not very difficult and it would be very useful to understand if we had made mistakes or if perhaps it is the bambulab system that should be revisited. With silence we will not obtain anything, neither us nor them.
Finally, thank you for your reply !
yep, if they are too lazy to leave a comment to explain or even troubleshoot the issues i bet too they wont read this.
a while back some user gave me a low rating killing my average 5 star, complaining about mid print fail, i massaged him and he ghosted me for about 2 month, i got a reply from him few days back saying that it was his machine and then ghosted me again without changing his rating.
I am missing a clear hint before rating a print profile: “You are rating the print profile (How was the printing experience). You are NOT rating the model itself (How do you like the model).”
As most of my models are support-free and easy to print, the print profiles should be fine in most cases and the rest are the typical errors like print bed not cleaned, filament not dried,… . But bad ratings are often based on “it’s too small for me”, “I would love to have some magnets”, “why is there no handle”…
I totally agree with you, but since downloads of any model are made from the space dedicated (rightly) to profiles, people are brought to think they have to/can evaluate everything about the model, the presentation, in short everything except the profile itself.
And anyway the problem always remains the same: they don’t tell us anything ! We are going to be silently punished !
I reported some ratings lower than 5 stars without a comment, but all reports get declined. All reported ratings had a question to the user asking for details and are not answered for at least two weeks. It’s really sad to have these bad ratings - not only because the overall rating is affected, but mainly IF there is an issue, the designer could fix it.
Because there are likely so many people with an A1 mini or A1 that just print from the handy app, they’ll never read the forum and they won’t even be able to troubleshoot their issues. They just want print profiles to work as-is, unfortunately.
Does anyone know the best way to dispute a 1-star review? I tried reaching out to the commenter but no response, and seems like no real reason why he gave 1-star. Seems like the account was created either just to troll or give 1-star reviews?
I usually report reviews with 3 stars or less if they lack an explanation or if the user doesn’t respond to my questions. BambuLab usually accepts these kind of reports and remove the rate.
