Defect on step like walls on A1

I am getting this weird issue when printer prints in steps upwards. similar thing happens when im printing a helmet. The nozzle also scrapes the weird extrusion at the marked parts . i can hear it while printing.

settings :
Filament : PLA ( wol3d pla )
temp : 220/65 c
speed : 200/300 inner/outer, ( slow on overhangs 50, 30, 10, 5 )
I have dynamic flow calibration on
nozzle : 0.4
layer height 0.2
top layers : 6
bottom layers : 3
infill: gyroid 10%
wall loops : 3 , inner/outer

Please do help me find the mistake in my settings

Nozzle diameter?
Layer height?

I forgot to put that in and have edited it in,
0.4mm nozzle , 0.2mm layer height

Looks like edge curling. Try out the adaptive layer height and of course make sure the filament is dry.

10% infill with that much of an interior overhang will probably struggle and you will have artifacts as you have shown.

Up the infill percentage to the whole model or use a modifier in that area.

hello, correct me if i am wrong, The modifier should increase the infill in that certain area correct?

Correct.

Here is the link to the wiki regarding using modifiers. There is a section about using them for different infills.

thank you, i have set the print again with outer/inner instead of inner/outer thinking it might help. if not i will put this modifier and report in a few hours

outer/inner helped but only slightly. after adding modifier below it for 40% infill it is solved completely !

Thank you jon!
