Defining model colors in a modeling application

Hi.

Is it possible to define the colors of the model already at the stage of its creation (e.g. in FreeCAD, ThinkerCAD or Blender)?

Alternatively, are there any additional tools that can do this on a previously created model.

I want to automate the process of creating colorful models.

The most recent version of Bambu Studio does allow the colours defined in Blender exported as OBJ files to be picked up.

Personally I use Fusion 360 - I colour things using separate bodies with appearances matching the colours. I then export one big stl per colour - with the name of the stl containing the colour and BS virtual extruder slot number - so it is then very easy to either manually or automatically add the colours back in the Bambu Studio.
