sweet thanks twentyfive charectors

what do you want? 25 char.

it is a garden stake that the don’t make anymore

okay, do you have specifications?

Probably something that would be easy to whip up in Onshape or Fusion. Both free.

Might be a good opportunity to start and develop some CAD skills?

Have a reference image?

yeah give me about ten minutes and i can send you pics in a dm on here with dimensions

how do you want the images

Your able to attach images here

Looks like you already tried to 3d scan it. How’d that turn out?

This would be a relatively easy part to model.

Good 2 minutes to get to here

A few needed dimensions:

  1. Diameter of threads
  2. Diameter of base
  3. Height of threads
  4. Thickness of base
  5. Thread pitch

Most of it can be eyeballed to get something that would work, but we would definitely need the specs of those threads because it looks like it is made to connect to something.

it didnt work it was to small for my scanner

what is the base the flat part or thepart where the threads are

Sorry, should have clarified. I am referring to the disk where at the “base” of the threads and the spike.

  1. Diameter of threads1.94

  2. Diameter of base3.925

  3. Height of threads1.405

  4. Thickness of base 3.1 mm

  5. Thread pitch .95 mm

i tried doing the measurements with a ruler only to remember i had calipers

Your not measuring the threads correctly. When you are measuring the diameter and length, treat is as you are measuring a cylinder.

Wait, no, your probably using cm for those… I need more coffee I guess.

so is it wrong twenty five

Maybe, was my assumption on the units correct?

19.4mm makes a lot more sense than 1.94 mm
