Design of 3D file

i would like to be able to design my own door corner decorations.

i have used fusion 360, svg images and inksape but i find it very not user friendly and fusion 360 lag insanely when a svg file is loaded.

can anyone point me in the right direction?

Start with something simple and practice.

Extrusions are your friend here, yours will be a side profile extruded to the desired width.
