Desk 100°C temperature for drying silicagel

Has anyone tried set desk temperature to 100°C for 1hour or more for drying silicagel? is it safe for printer? or its excessive degradation ?

What is desk temperature? Do you mean bed temperature?

Yes you are right bed temperatura.

Spec on the bed says 110ºC maximum on the bed.
Put it on a cookie sheet and stick it in the oven.
The brand I use, Dry & Dry (blue beads) recommends an oven for .5 - 2.0 hours at 120ºC

I thought about it as well but I thought even if it worked, releasing moisture inside the printer was not something I wanted to try.

It’s one thing to dry a spool of filament which may be releasing 2 or 3g of water but silical gel can hold water for as much as 40% of its weight.
