Hello,
I have this situation in which the slice looks clean but when the model prints there are these diagonal lines. I’m using PLA basic and all the normal settings for PLA, the model is positioned with the area shown laying down so it’s flat on the plate. I’m assuming it’s a temp or a speed issue but hoping for some thoughts on what to do here. Thanks for the help in advance! : )
I’ve found some info on flow calibration so going to try that. But again, any help or tips is greatly appreciated.
The few times I’ve had that problem, performing a complete clean, lube, and calibration was the cure.
I just got the my H2D and did the lube as it came up as an alert so I did the rods and everything with the Bambu grease/lube that came with the unit. I did just do a calibration as well and a filament calibration as well so we’ll see. I’m using this Overture gold PLA and it’s a kinda unique filament and it’ just seems to be that PLA that is doing this.

It’s likely an imperfect[but close] flow rate, being exposed by those areas where the “flood-fill” algorithm has to pick up the pen and move to a new spot due to the shape. You could also try experimenting with a different top surface pattern, the slicer preview should give you a pretty good idea how it’ll change the appearance, and it might help hide those discontinuities.
Your cleanest possible look would be to print that seperate, face down on the plate, with a plate that has the texture you want [smooth pei or cool plate satin finish look great on silk IMO]. And then just glue it on. But it’s an ordeal
