My first Supertack plate was black with white text.
Now I received a second one, and it’s different: the coating is grey and feels thinner than on the black plate. The printing is grey and I doubt the camera will be able to read the Qr code. There is a hole in the front left and the spring steel feels thinner than on the black plate. It also isn’t entirely flat: it makes a small knocking sound when pushed in one direction or the other.
Anybody knows what this is about? When buying it I chose the link that said “new” and “pro”, but on the actual page there was no mention of “pro” nor if anything was different, same for shipping info, and the actual product: it just says supertack same as the black one. Also: if anything it feels like an inferior product to the black one: thin and somewhat convex / concave.
The only benefit I see is grey showing black first layer better, and being slightly lighter for bed slingers.
Looks like the old, non “Pro” version, at lest from the pictures (I only have a “Pro”). Where did you buy that? Which printer? Which country (store)? When did you buy the 1st one, after the “Pro” release?

It was bought from the Germany based EU store, same as for the first plate, and for the same price.
It was ordered together with a A1, but there shouldn’t be any reason to push the inferior product on me when it is independent from the printer and I specifically chose “new pro”.
Well, it seems I was pushed toward the non pro because it was the only one eligible to a bundle rebate. The bundle rebate was based on a supposed price of 37€ (which is maybe why I thought this was the pro one: black cost 30€, and it’s not written pro on the plate either), brought down to 18,65€. The real price without rebate is actually 19,50€, so actual rebate was less than 1€. A bit scammy to base the bundle rebate on a fake price.
Not happy BBL, build plates matter, and I didn’t want an inferior product with a fake rebate. It’s not just the cost of the non pro thrown out of the window, but also shipping for a new pro plate
