as you see below picture. I tried 2 different position to print this latch. The red on the side position with tree organic support. the yellow just flat on the bed without support. I printed it with PLA+… same speed with 0.2mm line height, 3mm outter brim only.
the top closed circle, outter circle is 8mm, the inner circle is 4.2mm.
The problem is, the inner circle of the yellow latch will shrink to around 3.9 to 4mm, while the red latch maintain the size still 4.1-4.2mm
anyone know why this is happend? I thought printed with flat surface will made the size not change. I though it wrong! the red latch that printed with the side on the surface actually have the right size.
the yellow latch… I tried both, first I take out the plate immedately after printed adn the second time, I let it almost an hour on the build plate before took it out. the realut is the same, the size is shrink…
well… for me is not normal… with all the technology they put into the P1S, thins kind of shrink error should be at least very minimum if not eliminated. I know this is not a mgic printer that can really have measure to the detail. but if a hole from 4.2mm can shrinkage to 3.9mm, for me is not acceptable.
I don’t mind to reposition the object for get a very minimize shrinkage result, from flat to side printing, but it means I have to test print everything that I want before to get the near good result… and I print a lot of small object, like latch, gear, hole, stud, etc…
I have calibrate the flow dynamics and flow rate twice with the different color filament from sunlu. the result is stilll the same.
