Hello all,
I’m about to buy my second p1s printer with the idea being that one would have a 0.4 nozzle and the other a 0.2 nozzle.
Is there a way I could have them both printing with different profiles in Bambu studio?
I’m guessing I’d probably have to have two bambu studios open at the same time with each having the different nozzle profiles?
Any help would be appreciated!
I currently have 6 Bambu Studios open at the same time.
I have 5 printers.
I have 4 P1S printers, one A1 mini.
Only one of my P1S printers currently has the hardened gears and nozzles installed (I still have to find time to do the others).
There is absolutely no problem having multiple instances running or any of them targeting different printers or different nozzle sizes.
Just enjoy it, you are good to go.
On the Mac, the option is “New Window”.

I forgot to mention, setup the multi-device mode when you have both printers.

Studio doesn’t need to stay connected to the same printer when printing. After the print starts you can just select a different printer and that printer can have a different profile.

Thank you for this! At the moment I’m using orcaslicer and Bambu Studio as I find the little nuances between them both better for different things.
I guess that could be similar to just having 2 Bambu studios open at the same time…
If not I’ll do what you suggested.

Ahhh alright, that makes sense.
I was ideally wanting just one Bambu studio for each printer so I’d just click print basically without having to select profiles as they’d both have different AMS (one printer will have 2 and the other 1 AMS).
