I had a lot of difficulty removing the right hotend, but not the left one. The filament is fully unloaded, the hotend is free, but the filament is stuck in the extruder. I didn’t want to pull too hard.
Finally I loaded/unload another filament, it was like before but finally I got it out. I noticed on the left hotend the filament is cut 2-3mm above the hotend, on the right hotend it’s cut about 10mm above !
Why it’s not similar, why this difference between both hotend ?
I have run into the same issue, and while it takes more time, but I started doing a cold pull before swapping the extruder. The also insures a good clean extruder when you go to load back in.
i’ve had that issue, i replaced the right heater block, and it improved, but has started sticking again recently, the way to release it easily is to heat it up, setting it for example to 150 and once the temperature reaches, setting it back to 0, then you can easily take the nozzlle out (carefully not to burn yourself, using a set of pliers is probably best)
That’s not the same issue, mine doesn’t stick to the heater, it’s the filament that is stuck in the filament guide.
Last time I got it out quiet easily, I rotate the hotend; its cooler rests on the filament guide, which acts as a lever to extract the filament from the guide.
The chosen temperature depends a bit on the recently used filament. If that is PPS, 150C wont help, you might need a 100 more.
It’s also good to consider some heat resistant gloves. better than messing with pliers. Place a cloth on the build plate, so when it drops, it doesn’t hurt your plate.

I might skip it at times, because I am in a hurry, but its definitely good to clean your nozzle (especially after using high temp filaments) if you don’t know what the next filament is that you will be using.
