I print a lot of text face down on the bed. I find that it works best if the text prints before the background. It seems to be random as to which is printed first by the slicer. Is there a way to direct the slicer to start with a desired slot?

There sure is. Click on the “bolt” icon on the plate, then on the first layer filament sequence and you can drag the filaments around.

click the little nut thing to right of build plate then select the first layer sequence or other layer filament sequence and arrange
